It's Reunion Time!!!

Hello Everyone!

Just a reminder that our reunion is June 14 & 15.  If you haven't sent in your money, please do so. You may use PayPal or send a check to Fifth Third Bank in West Milton, Attention: Kathryn Keller.  If you plan to pay at the door, please send a  RSVP to miltonclassof93@gmail.com so that we can give the caterer accurate numbers. Please see detailed information in previous posts.

20th Reunion

The dates have been picked! Our reunion will be held June 14th and 15th, 2013.

Friday, June 14th:  This event is for alumni AND spouse/guest. We originally thought we would make this an alumni only event, but we decided against this in our last meeting. This event will start at 7 p.m. at the VFW located at 116 N. Main Street, Englewood, OH 45322.  DJ services will be provided by Kathryn Keller's fiance and we ask that you drop some money in his tip jar since he has donated his services. The VFW offers food and drink which you may purchase if you like. They do not accept credit cards, but there is an ATM located inside the building.

Saturday, June 15th: We will be meeting at the West Milton park at 11 a.m.  We are booking a shelter and the shelter number will be announced at a later date. Please bring your family! In order to have a balanced spread of food, we have divided up the alphabet as follows:

Last name ending in A-F:  APPETIZER
Last name ending in G-L:  MEAT
Last name ending in M-R: VEGETABLE or FRUIT
Last name ending in S-Z:  DESSERT

We realize that some people will be traveling and may not be able to bring a certain dish. All we ask is that you bring something to share no matter what it may be. Please bring your own table service and drinks. You may want to bring lawn chairs also.

***At 2 p.m. we are planning to go to the new school for a tour given by Mrs. Rammel. 

Saturday evening: We will be meeting at 6 p.m. at Fayevore's Banquet Center (American Legion) located at 2334 S. Miami St., West Milton. Dinner will be served around 7 p.m. This event is for alumni and spouse/guest. Feel free to bring any pictures or things you would like to share.

The cost for this event is $25.00 per person.  This covers the cost of your catered meal, drinks (water, lemonade, etc), hall rental, and any additional costs we may incur. If you want any soda or alcoholic beverages, you may purchase them from the bar. They only accept CASH. We have several options for making payment:

1. Make a payment using PayPal

Please send this as a GIFT. This option is located under the "Personal" tab on the payment screen. If you need help, please send an email to miltonclassof93@gmail.com.

**This money is sent directly to our class account at Fifth Third.

2. Send a check to:

**Make check payable to "Milton Union Class of 1993". Kathryn works at the bank and will deposit the money directly into our class account.

3. You may pay at the door. Please make this your last option. All of our expenses need to be paid in advance and we would like to give the caterer accurate numbers so we aren't paying for a bunch of extra food. If this is your only option, please notify us as soon as possible of your intent to come and we will gladly take payment at the door!

We are planning to sell 50/50 tickets during our reunion. The money we raise will get put into our class account to be used for our next reunion or possibly a class gift for the new school. We can vote on this later.

Reunion Plans

Hello All! We had a great time together discussing ideas for our 20th Reunion in 2013. Here are our tentative plans:

Dates: June 14 & 15 or August 2 & 3

Please send an email stating which date you would prefer and your home address. The majority vote will determine the date. Also, we will need your home address to send invitations. Any home addresses and contact information will be kept confidential.

Friday night: This event will be alumni only. We are planning to meet at the VFW in Union. Kathryn Keller's boyfriend has offered his DJ services. He will be accepting tips in lieu of a set fee. The VFW offers food and drinks which you may purchase if you like. We also mentioned opening this night to alumni from other grades who are close friends.

Saturday afternoon: This event is for you and your family. We are planning to arrange a tour of the new school. We felt that this would be a great opportunity for those who live out of town or do not have children who attend Milton. Sadly, our old high school will probably be torn down by next year, so we won't have the opportunity to see it one last time. We are planning a picnic/carry-in for lunch after the tour. This will either be held at Lowry by the new school or at the Milton park.

Saturday night: This event will be for alumni and spouse/guest only. We are planning to meet at the American Legion in West Milton for dinner. More information will be given as soon as we check into food/catering.

We decided not to have any activities on Sunday. In the past, we had a golf scramble, but it wasn't much of a success. Since most people live out of town, we decided that a Sunday activity would be too much!
